IN SEARCH OF LIGHT
‘In Search of Light’ is a project close to my heart, a dream of a sort. I started this project in Nov 2018, it’s been running ever since, without knowing the end to it. I often feel that this project is more of a self-documentation, a reflection of my inner world, and the environment in which I have grown up. There are questions in my mind: Who am I? Why am I doing photography? Did I choose photography, or did it choose me? I hope that this project will take me closer to the answers to all my questions. Hence, a perfect synonym for this project will be: In search of me.
My core essence of photography is “Candid”. Initially, I started shooting for this project in my own hometown. I just love to shoot early foggy winters. In another way, my project shows humans unbreakable connection with nature. During the winters—the fog, colored lights and humans, collectively create these scintillating cross-play of nature. It’s equally fun to discover such scenes on the street. There’s so much that I’ve learnt from shooting for this project. In fact, learning is ongoing, and so does the project. One is known for its quality of work. Through ‘In Search of Light’, I wish to realize a better version of myself.
